Clean and Green!

So if you have been following this blog for a while you will know that I am a big fan of arm and hammer products... In the past I have used their baking soda as an abrasive cleanser, wash strengthener, carpet and trash can deodorizer and with vinegar to strengthen the cleaning potential of the baking soda.

I decided to use baking soda and vinegar to clean instead of store bought cleaners because it was inexpensive to buy, safe for my family and easy on the environment. Only issue, it left an unsightly residue if I did not rinse the surface area REALLY well. I have not had good luck with "green" cleaning products.... they simply did not do a good job, and until recently they were almost always more expensive than traditional chemical cleaners.
So, sick of baking soda residue and a house smelling of Easter eggs (on cleaning day) I decided to give the cleaning isle a look the other day. After standing in the isle for a good 15 minutes I decided on the "arm and hammer essentials" a safe plant based cleaner that is also kind to the environment by using less waste packaging. The refills are less expensive that a new bottle of cleaner. AAAAND, it is better than any chemical cleaner I have ever used! I love it... and I still feel good that I'm using something safe and Eco friendly.

I haven't tried it, but I agree, I'm not a fan of baking soda and vinegar!
